People are fascinating, freaky creatures. I spend a lot of time thinking about us and how we interact. The influence we have over one another, experiences that connect us, mindsets that divide us, and the things that make us amazing, awful, boring, and beautiful are what drive me and keep me excited and curious.

I cut my teeth in photography first by shooting my high school friends skateboarding, and then developed my craft in art school. Those early experiences still show up in how I think about light and composition, even on fast-moving shoots with lots of moving parts. Twenty years in, what hooks me hasn't changed: I like being around people doing what they do, making sure they're comfortable enough to forget about the camera, and capturing the story as it unfolds.

When I'm not working, I'm usually outdoors — climbing, backpacking, and canoeing. In 2025, I spent 6 months hiking the Appalachian Trail, and honestly, that kind of trip has a lot of overlap with this job in ways I didn't expect. Whether I'm spending the day on a factory floor or construction site for an industrial client, or on a fast-moving lifestyle shoot — they ask for the same thing a long trail day does: keep moving, pay attention, roll with whatever changes, and don't let the grind show up in the work.

I'm based in Atlanta and available (and itching) for travel worldwide.
